Choosing the right ukulele for you is important - the more you like (or even love your ukulele) the more motivated you will be to want to play it. There are many ukulele's to choose from. They can be made from a variety of materials natural/man made and come in different sizes (soprano/small concert/medium tenor/large). From my experience, if you are just setting out on your ukulele quest, the Lanakai range are great ukulele's to play and are extremely good value. Because I'm so happy with my Lanakai uke, I thought i'd stock a few models that can buy directly from me. I will deliver in person within Brighton & Hove and make sure that you are entirely happy with it and that it's tuned up nicely before I go.
Makala Starter Ukuleles:
MAKALA ukuleles are made out of agathis instead of mahogany. Agathis is a wood looks similar to mahogany in appearance and has a wonderful bright tone. All of these ukes have brass frets, a rosewood fingerboard, and good geared tuning keys.
