SONGWRITING:
Would you like to write a song?
Have you got some half written songs that you can't finish?
Are you a lyric writer in need of a melody?
In songwriting sessions, I can teach you activities to help you focus on lyric writing and how to structure a song. If you have lyrics we could explore different melodies or I can help you write a song from scratch. Note: I write all my songs on the ukulele (many musicians do!)
We can record your song at the end of the session. I can burn it onto a cd for you to take away or email it to you as an mp3 file.

A one hour songwriting session costs £25 : In one hour you would have the 'bones' of the song, e.g. lyrics, structure, chords, melody completed. Sometimes one hour is enough to finish a song - and you'll know it's finished because you will be happy with how it sounds! If the songs requires more time to complete, I would encourage you to live with it for a week (at least). You may wish to continue working on the song yourself, or with your band etc, or return for a second songwriting session that would focus on tweaking the lyrics, music and arrangement.
